In this studio, participants received a 4m x 5m x 6m section of a theoretical wall to design a small sanctuary space for personal recuperation. Functions were flexible but at minimum sleeping space and a kitchenette.
The small scale offered an opportunity to model intricate parts, such as furniture. Final critique with all student projects lined end-to-end, emulating the resulting wall of sanctuaries.
The model was digitally built in 3D via the Source game engine (build 2015) for direct interaction with the geometry and interior space via gamepad.
